Yara Bloodclaw (warrior) is a tall, tattooed woman in her middle thirties. She has lived in Hengistbury for over half a decade, now working as a beekeeper. A capable fighter, she reinforces the guards of Hengistbury and is never seen without her two warhammers. If asked about her past she mentions only that she was raised in a cold mountain range in a land far away. Otherwise Yara says little and never drinks alcohol, the latter trait making her especially reliable if trouble should crop up late at night.
Humanoids include a number of different intelligent, language-using bipeds of Small or Medium size. Humans and elves are humanoids, and so are orcs and goblins. Humanoids may employ magic but are not fundamentally magical—a characteristic that distinguishes them from bipedal, language-using fey, fiends, and other monsters. Humanoids have no inherent alignment, meaning that no humanoid ancestry is naturally good or evil, lawful or chaotic.
