Captivating Speech
Through moving words, you stir the hearts of your allies and captivate your enemies so completely that your allies go unseen.
When you activate this maneuver, roll a Persuasion check. Then choose up to six creatures within 30 feet of you that can hear you. You can choose which of the following two effects to apply to each target.
If your Persuasion check was equal to or greater than the creature’s passive Insight, the creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your Persuasion check result, or it is fixated on you for 1 minute. This effect requires concentration like a spell and ends early if you lose concentration, drop to 0 hit points, or if the creature can no longer hear you.
While fixated in this way, any ally who is not within 10 feet of you is considered to be hidden from the creature. An ally remains hidden until they reveal their position, such as by touching or attacking the creature or producing a lot of noise.
The creature gains temporary hit points equal to your roll. Additionally, choose from frightened , fixated , or charmed . The creature is immune to the chosen condition for a number of rounds equal to your Charisma modifier. If it is currently under the effects of one of these conditions, the effects are suppressed for the duration, though they resume when the effect ends. Time spent suppressed counts against a condition’s duration. You can only choose one condition each time you use this maneuver.
