You can use technology to push the power of your spells far beyond their normal limits. You gain the following benefit:

  • Once per long rest, you may choose a spell you have prepared as a spell invention that requires a saving throw and change its range to a 60-foot cone or a 20-foot radius sphere centered on yourself (but excluding the square of origin), affecting all valid targets within range. Doing so causes the spell invention to immediately fizzle upon casting, regardless of the results of the fizzle die.
